Roy Hargrove delights thousands at Central Park with his Big Band and guests.
Roy Hargrove performed this past Saturday at the Central Park SummerStage in New York City to an adoring audience of thousands. The show featured The Roy Hargrove Big Band along with special guest Roberta Gambarini. Roy and co. performed several exciting numbers, including his own Trilogy, a rousing “September in the Rain” (with Hargrove on vocals!), and closed with a crowd-pleasing rendition of “My Funny Valentine.” Heavy rains that came mid-show did not deter the audience of fans young and old, who stayed throughout the electrifying performance.
